How much do we love these?

These are persistent pupillary membranes. This is a fetal vascular structure that is supposed to regress, but in some animals does not go away the way it should. In this cat, the fibers have come forward attached to the inside of the cornea, causing an opacity. Fortunately this does not cause any discomfort and no treatment is needed. It doesn't progress and shouldn't cause any issues.
